Experience the combination of Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater. Tarangire is a peaceful wilderness of rolling savannahs, ancient baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River that attracts elephants, zebras, and birdlife. The journey continues to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera surrounded by towering green walls. Inside the crater lies a rich ecosystem of open grasslands, forests, and sparkling soda lakes where wildlife thrives in harmony with the landscape.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, clients will be warmly welcomed by a professional driver-guide. After completing immigration and luggage collection, guests will be assisted to their vehicle for a comfortable transfer to their hotel in Arusha. The drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha town takes approximately 45–60 minutes, while from Arusha Airport it is about 15–20 minutes. During the transfer, visitors can enjoy views of lush landscapes, local villages, and, on clear days, the impressive slopes of Mount Meru rising above the town.
Upon arrival at the hotel, clients will check in, refresh, and relax after their journey. If time allows and guests are feeling comfortable, they can enjoy an optional Arusha town tour. This tour provides a first glimpse of Tanzanian life and culture, including visits to local markets, small shops, craft centers, and cultural sites.

Tarangire is also known for its incredible birdlife, with more than 500 bird species recorded in the park. Bird enthusiasts can spot colorful species such as hornbills, kingfishers, and the impressive ostrich. In addition, the park supports unique wildlife such as the fringe-eared oryx and the long-necked gerenuk, animals that are not commonly seen in other northern Tanzania parks.
Another unique aspect of Tarangire is the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source. During the dry season, this river becomes a vital lifeline for wildlife, attracting large numbers of animals such as elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and antelopes.

Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater Adventure
The package includes transport from Arusha, park entrance fees, professional safari guide, game drives in Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, and accommodation with full board meals.
Both parks offer great wildlife viewing year-round. Dry season (June – October) is best for seeing large herds and predators, while wet season (Nov – May) offers lush scenery and newborn wildlife
