• Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
  • Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your driver/guide from Almasi Africa, who will assist with your transfer to Arusha for a brief rest and orientation.
  • Optional Activity: Quick city tour of Arusha, depending on your arrival time.
• Lunch in Arusha
  • Enjoy a local meal at one of Arusha’s popular restaurants, where you can savor Tanzanian dishes.
• Transfer to Tarangire National Park
  • After lunch, journey to Tarangire National Park (Approx. 2.5-3 hours from Arusha). You will pass through scenic rural landscapes and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Masai Steppe.
• Check-in and Overnight at Lodge
  • Arrive at your lodge for a relaxing evening. You’ll have time to unwind and enjoy dinner with a view of the park. Dinner will be served at the lodge, followed by a peaceful night in the heart of the African bush.
• Overnight Stay: Rest at a your hotel.

Exploring Tarangire

• Early Morning Game Drive in Tarangire
  • After breakfast, head out on a morning game drive through the park. Tarangire is home to one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Africa, and you’ll also have the chance to see giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and a variety of bird species.
  • Your expert guide will explain the unique ecosystems of the park, from the swamps and riverbeds to the iconic baobab trees.
• Picnic Lunch in the Park
  • Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s scenic spots, taking in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
• Afternoon Game Drive
  • After lunch, embark on another thrilling afternoon game drive. Tarangire is known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities for incredible photos.
• Return to Lodge and Dinner
  • After a full day of safari, return to your lodge for some relaxation and a delicious dinner.
• Overnight Stay: Spend another night in Tarangire.

Transfer to Serengeti

• Morning Transfer to Serengeti
  • After breakfast, begin your journey to Serengeti National Park (Approx. 4-5 hours). You’ll drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enjoy stunning views of the Ngorongoro Highlands and Rift Valley.
• Lunch and Afternoon Game Drive in Serengeti
  • After reaching the Serengeti, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s designated spots. Following lunch, embark on a half-day game drive to explore the vast plains of Serengeti and encounter some of its famous wildlife.
  • Depending on the time of year, you may witness the incredible Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras migrate across the plains in search of fresh grazing grounds.
• Overnight Stay in Serengeti
  • Check into your Serengeti lodge or tented camp, where you’ll enjoy an exquisite dinner while listening to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti & Departure

• Early Morning Game Drive
  • After an early breakfast, set off on a morning game drive through the Serengeti, where you’ll have the opportunity to see predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs hunting. The Serengeti is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, and you’ll be able to witness dramatic interactions between species.
• Picnic Lunch in the Park
  • Enjoy another picnic lunch as you continue your game drive in the heart of the Serengeti, surrounded by nature.
• Afternoon Game Drive
  • After lunch, continue your exploration of the Serengeti, possibly catching a glimpse of the famous Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), along with many other species.
• Return to Lodge and Prepare for Departure
  • After an unforgettable safari experience, return to your lodge for some relaxation and a quick refresh before your journey back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
• Departure Transfer
  • Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (Approx. 5-6 hours from Serengeti) or Arusha for your departure.
