Welcome to Tanzania – Arrival in Arusha

• Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and be transferred to your hotel in Arusha.
• Evening: After settling in, enjoy a welcome dinner where your guide will brief you about the itinerary. Relax, stretch, and prepare for an exciting safari ahead.

Arusha – City Tour and Cultural Experience

• Morning: Begin the day with a guided tour of Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Visit the Arusha National Park, Cultural Heritage Centre, and the Maasai Market for some local shopping.
• Afternoon: Visit a local Maasai village to interact with the tribe and learn about their traditions, culture, and way of life.
• Evening: Return to your hotel and relax before the next day’s adventure begins.

Ngorongoro Crater

• Early Morning: After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a scenic drive to the crater rim, followed by a descent into the caldera for a full day of wildlife viewing.
• Game Drive: Explore the rich biodiversity, from the endangered black rhino to massive herds of wildebeest and zebras. Spot the Big Five in this natural amphitheater of wildlife.
• Late Afternoon: After an exciting day, drive back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Lake Natron

• Morning: After an early breakfast, head to Lake Natron, located at the base of Mount Oldoinyo Lengai (the “Mountain of God”). This remote, alkaline lake is home to thousands of flamingos, and you’ll have the chance to observe them up close.
• Afternoon: Explore the eerie, yet mesmerizing, landscapes of the lake, take a short hike to a waterfall, and relax with a picnic lunch by the water.
• Evening: Enjoy the stunning view of the sunset with the backdrop of the volcano, then head back to your accommodation.

Serengeti National Park

• Morning: Early breakfast and depart for the Serengeti National Park, passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the Serengeti and begin your first game drive on the famous plains.
• Afternoon: Explore the Seronera area, a prime wildlife zone known for large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
• Evening: Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening and a hearty dinner under the stars.

Serengeti National Park

• Early Morning: After a morning cup of coffee, embark on an early morning game drive. The Serengeti is teeming with wildlife at sunrise, making it the best time to see predators on the hunt and herds migrating.
• Afternoon: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive to other areas of the park.
• Evening: Return to your accommodation for the night and a delightful dinner.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

• Morning: Early morning game drive for a final glimpse of Serengeti’s wildlife before heading back to your lodge for breakfast.
• Late Morning: After breakfast, check out and enjoy your last scenic drive through the Serengeti as you make your way back to Arusha.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Arusha, where you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight.
