• Details: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Moshi. Meet your guide for a pre-trek briefing and gear check. Overnight stay at a comfortable lodge.

Moshi – Marangu Gate (1,870m) – Mandara Hut (2,700m)

• Trek Distance: 8km (5 hours).
• Details: Transfer to Marangu Gate for registration. Begin trekking through the lush rainforest, home to colobus monkeys and exotic birdlife. Overnight at Mandara Hut.
• Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Mandara Hut (2,700m) – Horombo Hut (3,720m)

• Trek Distance: 12km (6-8 hours).
• Details: Ascend through moorland with stunning views of Mawenzi Peak and the Kibo summit. Arrive at Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight stay.
• Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut

• Activity: Explore the surroundings to enhance acclimatization.
• Details: Optional hike to Zebra Rocks (3,980m) to help your body adjust to higher altitudes. Rest and enjoy the serene environment.
• Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Horombo Hut (3,720m) – Kibo Hut (4,700m)

• Trek Distance: 10km (6-8 hours).
• Details: Trek through alpine desert, with spectacular views of Kibo and Mawenzi Peaks. Rest and prepare for the summit attempt at Kibo Hut.
• Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Summit Day (Uhuru Peak 5,895m) – Horombo Hut (3,720m)

• Trek Distance: 16km (10-14 hours).
• Details: Begin the summit ascent at midnight. Trek through the dark with headlamps to reach Gilman’s Point (5,685m) and then Uhuru Peak. Descend to Kibo Hut for rest, followed by a trek back to Horombo Hut.
• Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Horombo Hut (3,720m) – Marangu Gate (1,870m) – Moshi

• Trek Distance: 20km (6-7 hours).
• Details: Final descent through the rainforest to Marangu Gate. Collect your summit certificates and transfer back to Moshi for a celebratory dinner and overnight stay.
• Meals: Breakfast and lunch.

Cultural Exploration & Departure

6:30 AM – Breakfast & Cultural Visit
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation before departing for a cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village. Here, you’ll learn about the customs and traditions of the Maasai people, one of the most iconic tribes in Tanzania. This is a unique opportunity to understand their way of life, including their famous warrior culture and pastoral lifestyle.

9:30 AM – Return Journey to Arusha
After the cultural experience, start your drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure (approx. 2-3 hours).

12:30 PM – Lunch & Departure
Upon arrival in Arusha, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. You will then be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight or continue your journey in Tanzania.
